Finally, yep finally got the dreaded Fuel Injection pump fitted. To gain sufficient access we had to amongst other things remove the timing belt. With these priced at just £12.78 + vat, it was a no brainer. Brand used was "Dayco". Also had a good look at the belt tensioners and all appeared very good. The injection pump was £45 from a local breakers yard - a bargain if you ask me. Whilst in there we checked the water pump - and again it appears fine. All put back together, rad etc refitted, and new all year round coolant added. A job well done. Many thanks to Colin & Trevor @ AC Auto's.
