Hi folks.Picked up yet another spare steel wheel & tyre from ebay today, paying the grand sum of 99p. The Tyre is a Dunlop 205/80/16 with about 4mm of tread, steel wheel in great condition. When I went to pick it up today, it was still bolted to the back door, with this rather fetching "Stratstone of Mayfair" Land Rover Dealer tyre cover on it. The seller kindly gave me that for nothing! Wicked !!
Much to Jen's annoyance, my spares pile is building up. The tyre nearest the fence was today's bargain205/80/16 Dunlop. Next to that another straight wheel with Brand New 205/80/16Wrangler tyre, in the middle a well worn but just legal 235/70/16 Michelin on steel wheel, then the 2 to the left soon to be appearing on ebay.
Having to rely on these bargains, as have been made redundant from the steel mill where i worked the last 5 years.
Onwards and upwards!
