Despite coughing and spluttering my way through the last 2 weeks and doing very little to the car, there is it seems, always something that can be done. As much as I love the dash in my 1992 motor, there is I think room for improvement! My wife and I no longer smoke (thank god - have you seen the fag prices?) and the cigar lighter socket is now mainly used for plugging in a plethora of 21st century gadgets to charge them on the go. It's been of no issue to me until very recently. I got an iphone, and this gets used on the go as my sat nav too, which as you probably know drains the battery. A quick search in my fave supermarket (that's right - fleabay) and I found this little beauty!
This little twin USB charger plugs neatly and nearly flush into the cigar lighter. Delivered to me with change from £4.00 was a more than acceptable price to pay, and now I can easily charge my sat nav / iphone whilst on the go. All i need now is a phone holder to clip to the air vent and i'm sorted. More armchair shopping !
