Andy from the Discovery Owners Club in Essex organised a day out yesterday for half a dozen of us to attempt the Cobham figure of 8, a tried and tested local Kent route.We went along for the day with kids in tow, and met up with the others at a local pub before setting out. We completed only 2 1/2 lanes, the day being cut short due to myself and others sliuding off the track. At the end of the day , I , along with a few others were recovered back to tarmac by the help of South East 4x4 Response. Spirits not dampened we're looking forward to the next outing.
