My car was not sitting level after fitting new rear springs, and today we tried to sort out why.
First of all we removed the shocks from both sides, so car just sat on the springs. Still not sitting level.
The Super Gaz shocks looked to be in good condition, and working as they should. However when we tried to refit them we could not get the bottom nuts on the threads. Closer inspection revealed the threads to be rather worn, so we opted to fit new Britpart Standard rear shocks. These were £30.00 a pair and more than man enough for what I need. Therefore, if you need some +2" shocks and are prepared to re cut the threads, let me know and we'll work out a deal !
Also today, the downpipe sheared on the exhaust - more out lay ! Still, without Bad Luck there wouldn't be any luck.
