How can 1 little thing cause so much grief! Luckily my mate Jeff was on hand to help with this installation, I don't think it would have got done so quickly if I'd been on my own. It appears that the previous owner had tried and failed with this job, as one of the two securing bolt heads was completely rounded. Jeff tried in vain to make a 3/8" socket fit a 10mm bolt but in the end gave up, deciding instead to remove the plate it sits on from the block. After much cursing the job was done and Jeff was on his way. He left a nice comment on facebook:"... just had an evening of crawling around under an oily Land Rover, and it wasn't even mine. Still at least didn't matter if I broke it."
